About Sylvia Gosse
Sylvia Gosse was a pupil and admirer of the painter W.R. Sickert (1860-1947). Like the Camden Town artists, her subject-matter tended to be townscapes, domestic interiors and the occasional still life. Her use of colour and method of working are close to Sickert’s own techniques.
