  • About Sei Shinohara


    This painting was inspired by the artist's memories of the pink blossom of the cherry trees of Japan. It does not represent a particular place but reflects her inner feelings about nature. Sei Shinohara was commissioned to paint murals for the new Kaetsu Building at New Hall. Born in Tokyo, she now lives and works in America and Britain.
