About Sarah Lederman
Since graduating from Chelsea in 2008, Sarah Lederman has won the Catlin Painting Prize, was selected by Kay Saatchi and Catriona Warren for Anticipation, and was nominated by Mark Wallinger for the Creekside Open Best London Artist in 2009.
Sarah's paintings focus on the adolescent body to engage with and disrupt traditional representations of femininity. She exploits the materiality and liquidity of paint to present the female body as fluid, free, sexual and uncontrollable.
