About Jeannine Cook
As a child in East Africa, Jeannine Cooke spent endless hours in a darkroom with her photographer grandfather, watching black-and-white photographs appear, as if by magic, in developing trays. Their monochromatic beauty ultimately contributed to her fascination with the drawing medium of silverpoint.
